Job Description:
Design & Architecture: Develop the architecture for network monitoring, performance management, and configuration tools to ensure high availability, scalability, and flexibility of network systems.
Toolset Implementation: Oversee the deployment and integration of network tools such as SolarWinds (NPM, NCM, NTA, NTM, NAM) or ScienceLogic (SL1, RP & VOSS) or equivalent, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT systems.
Network Performance & Analytics: Provide insight and strategies for optimizing network performance using advanced monitoring tools, data analytics, and machine learning techniques.
Automation & Orchestration: Develop and implement automation scripts for network tasks, configuration management, and monitoring processes to reduce manual intervention and enhance operational efficiency.
Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert for network tools and monitoring strategies, offering guidance to engineering and operations teams.
Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of tool architecture, processes, and procedures. Train internal teams on best practices for using the implemented tools.
Mandatory Skill: · Expertise with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds (NPM, NCM, NTA, etc.), Cisco DNA, ScienceLogic (SL1, RP & VOSS), NetScout, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, performance tuning, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
Experience in Network automation, scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell), and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform) preferred. – SDWAN
Familiarity with Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SD-WAN technology is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven track record of working collaboratively across teams. Supplementary Skills: · Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
