Key Responsibilities:
– Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, particularly HANA databases, in a high-availability environment.
– Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
– Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations, following best practices and minimizing downtime.
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with other IT teams and external vendors as needed.
– Implement and maintain security protocols and compliance standards to protect sensitive data
– Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and training purposes
– Provide technical support and guidance to end users, helping to resolve issues and optimize system usage
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
– 6-8 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with a focus on HANA databases
– Strong knowledge of SAP systems, including ECC, BW, and S/4HANA
– Experience with system monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
– SAP certification in BASIS administration is a plus.
